Easy set up and connected to wifi easily. However, disc player resulted in TV screen going blank in the middle of DVD's for a second or so in the middle of programs, in some cases multiple times. Menu for multi episode DVDs often didn't play. Software wouldn't update through wifi which Samsung customer support (called several times) attributed to higher than usual call volume (for a week), server problems (for a week), and in one case the guy blamed my TV (ironically also a Samsung). Customer support was not very helpful. Sound quality was mediocre and wireless rear speakers almost useless. However, the blank screen experience and inability to get this fixed made the unit useless and I returned it since it was defective. My guess is that Samsung has not developed the software and that their home theatre units should be avoided.

We wanted a home theater system for our new apartment that was both functional and stylish. The Samsung HT-C7530W fit both requirements. As our television was also a Samsung, the two systems meshed seamlessly. That said, the owner's manual was a tad vague on some fronts; however, through trial and error, we were able to get everything functioning. It should be noted that the rear surround sound speakers are only "somewhat" wireless. They receive a wireless signal from the receiver, but still require a remote electrical connection to provide power. The sound is particularly superb when viewing high-definition (e.g. Blue Ray) DVDs and delivers fairly decent output as an audio amp for playing the iPod and audio CDs. That said, living in an apartment makes it unlikely that we'll ever push the limits of its capability. All said and done, it's an feature-laden system that achieves both quality sound and a sophisticated design aesthetic at a reasonable price point.

I ordered this unit expecting it to be a superior system as i am leaving sony products to samsung products. Everything went well with setup being very easy. Then came the problem. This unit has no port for headphones. I always use headphones and if i had any ideal it did not have this feature i would not have ordered it . i have a $1000.00 bose speaker system and even it has a headphone plug in.
